BEAD BOWLS AND TRAY
I’ve been using these bamboo bowls for quite some time now for putting beads in while I design and create my jewelry. I just love them and always vowed to share them with the bead world. They are just too great. Let me tell you why.
First, look at the flat bottom. These do not tip very easily. Also, the lip is thin. This makes it easy for you to use your index finger and your thumb to scoop a bead out and then end with the bead between your finger and thumb. From there you are ready to quickly string your bead. No fumbling.
They are lightweight, well constructed, and they look nice. I use them each time I make jewelry and I am grateful for them every time.
They come in two sizes, small and large. The small measures 2 3/8” diameter or 6cm. The height is ¾” or 2cm. The large measures 3 ¾” diameter or 9.5cm. The height is the same as the small ones. The small bowl weighs .7 ounces and the large one weighs 1.2 ounces.
We also are selling a bamboo tray that can hold these bowls. This along with one of our Bead Boards, and you will have a very compact and durable beading station. The lightweight tray measures 16”Lx6 ¼”Wx1”H and weighs 12.6 ounces.
These items work well for when you are designing jewelry, but we are also excited to use them to display Scott’s lampwork beads at our shows. They are very lightweight, offer a quality look at a good price, and they travel well. Since they are solid bamboo, if scratched, they will still have the same coloring. The neutral color shows off the beads nicely.
You may even want to choose some fabric or felt to line the bottom for a custom look.
