Easily replace a worn out marver barrel with a new one. Simply remove the old one and slide the new axle and marver barrel onto the handle. Tarnished brass barrels can be renewed with a little polishing so only replace stuck marver barrels. I reccommend Nevr-Dull Magic Wadding Polish, and advise against use of any cream polishes as they could clog the bearings if they get inside. Tip: You shouldn't need to replace a barrel if you take care not to let the bearings get fried from over heating. So, keep a cotton towel moist with an occasional spritz of water on your table if you are going to be doing a lot of marvering. Between marverings you can roll the marver on the towel to cool the barrels and bearings.
