Deluxe Electric Mandrel Spinner
The inventor in Scott is never at rest.  He has now invented a NEW spinner!  This one is larger and has more torque.  It also spins a little slower than the regular EMS and will hold 1/16" mandrels up to and slightly over 1/4".  There are 9 sleeves holding mandrels as small as 1/16" and as large as 1/4".  (does not do 5/64It comes in one shaft size with an Upgrade 2 Power Box.  An excellent tool for those of you who are using larger mandrels or who want to use the spinner to turn glass rods instead of mandrels.
This photo is shown without the power box plugged in.  The tool needs to be plugged into the battery operated power box to work.  This spinner comes with the Upgrade 2 power box that has an on/off/reverse switch, a rheostat speed control dial to get your "set" speed, and another switch to activate double speed when desired.  It takes two D-cell batteries.  The tool is very energy efficient so you should not have to change the batteries very often.

This photo shows the scale difference between the new one and our standard Electric Mandrel Spinner.   The new one is larger and fatter.  This may feel better in your hand if you are more comfortable with a larger grip.   The weight of this tool is approx. 7 ounces.

Two things I would point out are that the Deluxe has a larger capacity than the Regular or Petite EMS and that it has more torque as well. The extra torque comes from the lower gear ratio.  The sizes that it is capable of holding go like this 1/16", 5/64" (with adaptor), 3/32", 1/8", 5/32", 3/16", 7/32", 1/4", 9/32", 5/16", and 11/32".
