"Our day out at Washington Park in Anacortes, WA"

Anacortes, WA (looking out to Guemas Island)

On old barge gets recycled as a breakwater. I should take seasonal pictures of this.

Spring has sprung.

See the notch? The lumberjacks in the early times around here would first cut this notch and then they would shove a plank into it and stand on it to do their chopping/sawing higher up.

Looking out from WA park out to Lopez Island. I wouldn't mind being on that bench right about now.

I love to see the bases of trees that have fallen over. It always makes me think I'll find a treasure there. An old artifact or something. So far just rocks, but I'll keep looking.

A viewpoint facing South. Still in WA Park. If you could see further left, you'd see Skyline Marina. Another bench I'd like to be relaxing on.
This tree weathers all of the storms and look how beautiful it has become.

My favorite tree, the Madrona.

Artist fungi in the sunlight.

The woodpeckers have definitely claimed this tree.

An old house on the Anacortes waterfront facing East.

A crazy house right behind the old house. What a contrast.
Thanks for reading!
