     Welcome to our website, bearfootart.com. We are a husband/wife team from La Conner, WA here to bring you a variety of items involving lampwork glass beads. Scott Bouwens is the lampwork beadmaker and he also has invented many unique and useful tools for the lampworker. Monica designs jewelry and often uses Scott's lampwork glass beads in her designs. She also teaches jewelry classes at their new retail studio in downtown La Conner, WA. Scott will be teaching lampwork glass beadmaking classes there soon as well. We offer a few other kinds of items for the jewelry designer that Monica thought were too good to not make available to you as well, the bead bowls and trays and the Bead Board. We sell Scott's beads on this site and also some of Monica's Jewelry. The Tool Store is where you will find Scott's incredible line of tools that are perfect for increasing your production and design possibilies while many offer ergonomic benefits as well.      We are now beginning to plan for our studio open house on December 5th.  The same night at the La Conner Tree Lighting celebration.  It will be a great night!  More details coming soon.
 
     We are turning our studio into a full-on bead store as well!!  Right here in downtown La Conner, WA.  I have put out my entire stash and finally priced everything.  I need to order a few more items to technically have what a bead store needs to offer, but I'm just about there!  Here are a few photos!  These photos don't show all of it, so you'll have to come in and see for yourself.   I'll be adding a class schedule soon.  Please e-mail me if you are interested.
